Arrowhead Awarded $1.2M Design-Build Project at Ft. Rucker with the USACE Mobile District
On June 21, 2021, the USACE Mobile District awarded Arrowhead a partial Design-Build Construction project under contract number W9127821C0023. The job is titled Replace AHU 1 Building 5102 Fort Rucker, Alabama and the scope is for Arrowhead and its Design Team to remove an existing, non-functioning Air Handling Unit (AHU) from the top of the building, demolish all asbestos from the old ductwork, and then properly size, source and install a new air-handling unit in its place.
Additional scope includes the replacement of ceiling tiles 30 feet above a helicopter training unit and also in selected areas of the high-bay offices where water has damaged existing existing tiles.
